CALL FOR STORIES

Your voice belongs in this history

Paul Rutowski is actively collecting firsthand accounts, letters, photographs, and memories from veterans of the 173rd Airborne Brigade, their families, and anyone who has a connection to Operation Hump or the Vietnam War.

No story is too small. A name remembered, a letter saved, a photograph found in an attic — every fragment helps build the complete picture of what happened on November 8, 1965, and the lives lived before and after.

“Every story shared is a ghost given voice. These men deserve to be remembered as individuals, not just as numbers in a casualty report.”
